Old profile page energy points view
Energy Points is an incentive on Khan Academy, given for completing skills, completing programming challenges, earning badges, watching videos, participating in discussions and a variety of other tasks. Before Khan Academy's new layout in 2012, the number of energy points that a user currently has was invisible at any page in Khan Academy. Now user can hover over someone's name on comments and programs to see their point totals.
Currently, users can now see their energy points on the new personalized homepage, Learning Dashboard or in their User profile.

Badges associated with Energy Points:
- Ten to the Fourth (meteorite badge, 10,000 Energy Points)
- Ten to the Fifth (moon badge, 100,000 Energy Points)
- Five Times Ten to the Fifth (earth badge, 500,000 Energy Points)
- Millionaire (sun badge, 1,000,000 Energy Points)
- Tesla (black hole badge, 10,000,000 Energy Points)
