This exercise is easy to get accuracy badges because the manipulative displays the current mean and median while the user is moving dots. The speed badges vary because of the time that is required to move the dots. This exercise is easy with a stylus, medium with a mouse and hard with a touchpad.
- Users shouldn't submit their answer until they have the right mean and median, they can read it from the line.
- It is easiest to move the dots closest to the median to control the median first.
- After the median is set, it is easiest to move high dots or low dots to drag the mean to its desired value.
