Strategies[]

This exercise is easy to get accuracy badges because the conversions all seem to land on whole numbers. It is easy to attain speed badges also because the numbers can general be worked with mentally easily.

  1. On Can they buy, it is always converting in the same direction. Take the money, multiply by the conversion number and compare to the purchase price.
  2. On Change back there is one question that requires writing dollars and cents, therefore requiring a decimal. Other than that, the answers are all whole numbers as they only ask for the cents that the purchase will receive back.

Real-life Applications[]
